The best way to do harmful things?

People spend an inordinate amount of time and energy trying to figure out the best ways to do things that shouldn't be done. At all. By anyone.

The best way to fund government.
The best way to teach children obedience.
The best way to "run" a society.
The best way to police.
The best way to protect democracy.

I can't stop them from wasting their time. I just wish I had a good way to prevent the harm they inflict with their crazy notions from impacting my life or the lives of those I care about.

Thank you for reading.

  1. I used to be like that. My thing was trying to find a way to re-write the Constitution to make it impossible for the government to exceed their "authority." I cannot begin to estimate the thousands of hours that I wasted over the years on an impossible task before I finally gave up twenty-odd years ago and became an anarchist.

    1. Government will not be limited.
Which, coincidentally, is the topic of my upcoming newspaper column. A local county is signing onto the effort to get a new constitutional convention so some government-limiting amendments can be proposed. I think it's pointless and dangerous, and I'm telling them so.
