I'm in favor of the whole public swarming all parts of the Capitol (and every other government building) all day every day. There should be no doors to close, and no security, at any government facility.
Your objections are duly noted and dismissed.

If you imagine government has rights or "authority" you'll always come to the wrong conclusion. Always.

 

Politicians and their drooling groupies have, through constant repetition, programmed most people to fear liberty. This isn't good for civilization. It's easy and popular to say anti- liberty things, but it's wrong to impose them.

My response to the WHO pandemic response (whichever pandemic they see) is the same as my response to any cry for safety because "people will DIE!": Liberty is more important than life.

If your solution is a political solution, you aren't really advocating a solution. Politics is never a good solution.

When I say I dislike both sides of the abortion fight, I'm not talking about individuals with opinions. I'm speaking of the activists and the advocacy groups, and the arguments they use. Both sides.

I'm not really a supporter of the Second Amendment. Government has ignored it to the point where it is mostly irrelevant, and it didn't "give" anyone any rights; it forbade government to touch the people's guns (and defense rights), but they do it anyway. However, if it can be used as a tool against political criminals, I'll happily use it.

The Censorship Clan is apparently having a bad day. Poor little fascist-socialists.

I don't carry weapons. I carry tools. Whether those tools turn into weapons depends entirely on the behavior of people in my vicinity.

When the EMTs came to help my dad, who was weak and confused, the first question they asked was whether he had recently gotten a Covid "vaccination". The FIRST question. There are several ways to interpret that, but it was interesting to me.

Anti-gun legislation isn't law, and ATF rules aren't even legislation. Just crime. Treat it as such and treat those who impose and enforce it as the criminal scum they are.

Without life, there is no liberty... but you won't miss it and won't care.
Without liberty, life is a hellscape.
That's why I value liberty more than life itself.

Someday, the w0ke will be viewed with the same contempt as the Nazis are now. 

For some of us, that someday arrived 5 or 10 years ago.
I still don't support a military invasion to rout them from an area.

Our local paper had a note about some prisoners trying to escape from jail.
Excuse me, but I think it's a prisoner's obligation to try to escape, no matter what. Regardless of the rules applied to them, or why they are a prisoner. I don't fault them for that even a little, nor would I add a single day to their sentence for it. You aren't rational if you punish people for expressing human nature. In fact, I feel contempt for prisoners who simply accept their fate.

As in almost every case, in every country, the ruler is the enemy of the people and a threat to their well-being. The first step to recovery is always to neutralize the threat. If the Russian people get smart and take out Putin for self-preservation, then withdraw every invader from Ukraine, they should be allowed to go on with life and try to rebuild their country and economy without interference. 

"Civilian" = "Anyone not in our special club; lesser beings". "You people"/"Those people".
It didn't mean that in earlier times.

I am opposed to government trying to control "immigration".
I am opposed to government importing refugees.
I am opposed to government punishing people for defending their property, including by shooting trespassers.

It's only government overreach if the people do something substantive about it. Otherwise, it's just the new normal.
