Migration or human trafficking?

I'm opposed to government control of migration or "borders".

On the other hand, I'm opposed to whatever appears to be happening in Europe (and, to some extent, in some places in America).

It seems (if the reports are true*) that people are being imported (trafficked)-- which is not the same as "immigration"-- and then allowed to archate, almost to the point of being encouraged to do so, while the "native" population (people who have lived there for multiple generations) is forbidden to defend themselves, prohibited from owning or using proper defensive tools, and punished for doing or saying anything about the current situation.

It's no wonder a movie about a man who decides "enough is enough" is making waves around the world.

This is a government-created problem. Entirely government-created. I don't expect government to solve it, or do anything other than make it worse.

Governments seem to be trafficking in people who don't have many prospects at home, then using them to demoralize the "native" population (to gain more control over them).

No one has the right to archate (by definition), and that includes by forbidding self-defense and defense of property. If you then allow archation to happen by protecting the archators and punishing the victims, you deserve whatever fate befalls you when the chickens come home to roost. And they will. It won't matter that you've made it "illegal".

Anyone who tries to stab or behead a random person in public needs to face a universally armed population, and an eternal dirt nap in the company of worms and maggots. The same goes for any political criminal who tries to punish any defender of such victims. They are just as bad.

Aliens, government, and "disclosure"

There is most likely life on other planets. Intelligent life and civilizations are probably widespread throughout the Universe.

I consider it a remote possibility that maybe some of them have visited Earth for some reason.

But, if governments ever confirm it through "disclosure", I'm going to change my mind on the visitation part. 

That is more likely to be propaganda than reality. I'll then assume government hasn't got a clue, but is saying it to manipulate the public to fit some agenda that empowers government.

We have to trust liberty completely

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for February 18, 2026)

Few people understand liberty. Even fewer trust it to work.

As Voltairine de Cleyre wrote in 1908, "[T]he sin our fathers sinned was that they did not trust liberty wholly".

They thought America could have liberty along with a central government- a state. It didn't work. Now we are stuck with a growing police state, and the tatters of our remaining liberty are being criminalized at an astonishing rate. This won't end well.

Liberty is indivisible- it can't be broken into pieces and remain liberty. You can't respect it selectively (for some people, in some areas, some of the time) and call it "liberty". True liberty requires consistent respect for everyone's rights, everywhere, all the time.

Critics of liberty often pick apart one small aspect they dislike, arguing either that this single piece "won't work" in isolation or that removing it disproves all of liberty. They then act as if they've won the debate, but they're missing the point entirely.

All elements of liberty are deeply interconnected, like parts of an ecosystem. You can't remove one part while keeping everything else unchanged, and claim you've shown a flaw with liberty. Government's very existence cripples liberty.

A common pro-government argument claims you can't have "open borders" and a welfare state. I agree. Easy fix! End all government welfare. This isn't the answer they want, though. They don't dislike welfare; just migrants.

This is how it looks any time people attempt to argue against a free society, like saying that without legislation enforcement, criminals would run rampant. Yes, they would... if you ignore self-defense, consequences, and social pressure (things legislation attempts to thwart).

It's a dishonest argument.

It’s like taking a malfunctioning rocket engine, removing critical parts you don't like the look of instead of addressing the bad piece, then pretending you won because the engine still doesn't work. Of course it won’t. It’s a system. A rocket engine's fuel pump won't lift a rocket into orbit by itself, nor can an engine designed to require a fuel pump function without one.

This government-supremacist argument doesn't work and looks dumb. Unless you're the one making the argument to others who do the same thing, and you're patting each other on the back for being clever.

Government is the enemy of liberty. Claiming this as proof liberty is unworkable is like noticing scammers exist, and this proves money is useless. Trust liberty completely; distrust all who fear it.

Association must be voluntary, by mutual consent

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for February 11, 2026)

If you believe the best solution to any problem, real or imagined, is to give government more control, you're off base.

The government-created issue of "immigration" illustrates this perfectly.

Liberty trumps every other concern. Government solutions to "immigration" never enhance liberty but are a direct threat to it. Even if government is doing something you want it to do, and even if you believe the trade-off is worth the cost. Nothing is worth eroding liberty.

The New Mexico government recently barred state and local government-run facilities from contracting with ICE to provide detention centers. Good, bad, misguided, or pointless? This doesn't mean others won't choose to help ICE carry out its rights violations, but New Mexico governments won't be allowed to do so. It's still government doing government stuff.

Government has no business being involved.

As with most things, I expect some localities to ignore the legislation, hoping they'll get support from the federal government.

I'm opposed to concentration camps, whatever you might call them. I'm also opposed to barring people from living where they can make mutually consensual, voluntary agreements with the property owners.

Alternatively, I'm opposed to government participating in human trafficking; importing people from other countries and spending tax money to install them in communities.

Typically, you have people on one side who want government to ignore the Constitution and "control immigration" pitted against people on the other side who want government to import every basket case from every third-world country, and then support them for the rest of their lives on tax money stolen from the productive residents.

I want government out of the game altogether. Live where you want; make it on your own.

If you only want to hire people who were born in America- or in New Mexico- that's your right. Modern legislation might disagree, but if so, it's wrong. Again.

It's the same if you wish to discriminate on any basis for employment, housing, services, or whatever. Forced association is a violation of everyone's rights. If you don't want to be around me, why would I want government to force us together? That wouldn't be good for either of us. All association must be voluntary and by mutual consent. I wouldn't want to eat a cake baked by someone forced to "Bake the cake", to borrow a phrase from another case of forced association.

Government fouls everything it touches, including human interactions. It's never the solution.

Rights are identical for everyone

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for February 4, 2026)

There's nothing like a political showdown to help you discover who is on your side, who isn't, and who's been a phony ally all along.

All the people, organizations, companies, and politicians who say "I'm a Second Amendment absolutist, but..." are lying. The Second Amendment doesn't come with any "unless", "except", or "but".

Is the political Left on my side? Absolutely not. They want me to hate myself, they want to steal my money and give it away, and they want to vote away any rights they don't approve of. Just like the political Right wants to violate my right to associate with whoever I choose, to criminalize standing up against kidnappers as long as the kidnappers are said to have "authority" to kidnap, and they want to legislate away any rights they don't approve of.

H.L. Mencken wrote: “The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all.”

When President Trump said, “You can’t have guns. You can’t walk in with a gun. You can’t do that", he was wrong. No government rule or politician can overturn the Constitution or alter human rights, not even if the Supreme Court agrees.

Trump said those words because he was trying to gloss over a murder committed by a member of his gang. This will only work on those preprogrammed to believe it.

Trying to find loopholes so you can violate natural human rights, or violating human rights without such a loophole, is criminal. Violating rights is what criminals do; it's the definition of "criminal". Criminals excuse and justify each other.

Defending people from those who try to violate their rights can't be a real crime. Criminalizing defense and the proper tools with which to carry it out? That's the crime.

The Second Amendment isn't about who is allowed to carry what, when, or where; it's about prohibiting government from having any role in the conversation.

If you won't stand up for the rights of those you dislike, you don't really believe in rights at all. At best, you believe in privileges- things you can do as long as some government official agrees and gives you temporary permission to do it.

If this is you, at least admit it.

Bigger government is enemy of liberty

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for January 28, 2026)

There is no "right vs. left"; no "conservative vs. liberal"; no "Republican vs. Democrat". These labels are deliberate distractions- tools used by the true culprit to keep people confused, angry, and divided.

The real conflict has always been simpler and more fundamental: the State against you and your liberty.

Anyone who helps expand the State, either by giving it more wealth, providing an excuse to gain more power, or cheering its growth, is an enemy of individual liberty and human rights.

Here's the reality: Storming churches during worship services to score political points is anything but noble. It violates individuals and plays into the hands of those who want more government power.

Plotting to annex Greenland as a step towards building a global empire is not about protecting America- it’s about concentrating government power.

Neither path serves you as an individual; both serve the State. Yet, this is the false choice we are given. "If you aren't with us, you're against us."

I'm against anyone who tosses liberty aside for any reason.

I'm pro-America. America is not the US federal government, just as you are not the tapeworm in your gut.

If you are in favor of government power, and especially more power over more people or more places, you're not on the right team.

It's the impulse to fight for a Bigger Government to use against everything they hate or anything they fear. It doesn't matter how they justify it, or which side they believe they're on. They are wrong.

The people wearing masks to hide their identity while working for the state, the people disrupting church services as protest theater, the people blocking cars of those who are only trying to go about their business, the people enforcing rules that directly violate life, liberty, or property- such as mandating a "kill switch" on your car- and anyone supporting any of these actions, are not the good guys.

Breaking the law in order to enforce laws is ridiculous and hypocritical.

Saying you're standing up for someone's rights while violating someone else's rights is absurd.

"It's for your safety" is the nastiest lie there is.

Evil succeeds when people stop caring about doing what is right.

I understand why people do these things. I can empathize with them. But understanding and empathy don't equal approval. They are still wrong.

In the choice between more government control and individual liberty, there's no compromise possible.

Love liberty, not big government

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for January 21, 2026)

I'm saddened to discover how few people value liberty more than they hate other people and love big government. It wasn't a surprise, but I still hate to see it.

One faction hates gun owners and wants armed government employees to take their guns and kill them if they resist.

Another faction hates people who dwell somewhere without government permission and wants armed government employees to kidnap, cage, and evict them. They are happy to see government agents kill these people and their supporters if either of them resist.

They don't realize how similar they are; both want to hand illegitimate power over you and me to government. Power which will never be relinquished and will be turned against them as soon as the political winds change and a different regime, with different ideas on governing, is in power. They've seen it happen. They are living through it. Still, they pretend it won't happen next time.

Or maybe they believe their opposition will never be in power again, in which case, they live in a fantasy.

Some of these angry people want majority opinion to rule us all. They like to pretend rights are based on popular opinion.

Others lean on constitutionality when it helps their side and ignore it when it would be inconvenient for their intentions. They make excuses, pretend the Constitution allows the legislation they want, and that rights depend on what the Constitution says.

Both sides ignore basic human rights they don't like. Both sides want legislation to be written or enforced to impose their wishes on everyone else.

Even the side which invokes the Constitution doesn't care what it has to say if it goes against what they want. They'll abuse and misinterpret the Constitution to make their case. To me, it looks like lying.

They act as though the Constitution is Mary Poppins' magic satchel; they can reach in and pull out whatever they want whenever they want it.

As anti-slavery activist and freelance post office entrepreneur Lysander Spooner pointed out in 1870, either the Constitution created this mess, or it was powerless to prevent it; either way, it is unfit to exist.

Pointing out hypocrisy may be the only utility the Constitution still has, having been thoroughly ignored almost from the beginning whenever it clearly limited any power the federal government, or a faction of its supporters, wanted it to exercise anyway. Some things never change.

More laws equivalent of more crime

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for January 14, 2026)

Trying to solve crime with authoritarian government, more laws, and stricter enforcement is like trying to keep someone healthy by stuffing them in a coffin and burying them alive. Yet, this is the first move politicians make when they see a problem.

Turning to government and its laws is a sign your society has failed, and the unfortunate fact is that this only causes more crime in the long run. As the Chinese philosopher Laozi pointed out over two thousand years ago, "The more numerous the laws, the more thieves and robbers there will be".

If you prefer Western thought to Eastern wisdom, Roman historian Tacitus is said to have observed, “The more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the government.”

Whoever said it, it's true. It has always been true, and it remains so today. Only, can we finally admit it's not "corruption", but government working exactly as designed?

Once you realize government is made up of thieves and robbers, you'll see reality.

If more things are made illegal, the "crime rate" will inevitably go up, even if the amount of actual crime- individual rights violations- stays the same or goes down. All recent laws, and the majority of older ones, are aimed at making things which aren't real crimes, and have no individual victim, illegal; treating them the same as actual crimes.

Even when laws are directed at acts which violate life, liberty, or property, they are often focused on the wrong things. Like focusing on "gun culture" because political criminals and ignorant activists hate tools, instead of looking at crime culture and its behavior. Or punishing acts which violate no one, but which make politicians, their hired guns, and tyranny's cheerleaders uncomfortable. Like crossing unowned land, buying or selling products or services, or keeping your property hidden from thieves.

If the penalty for doing something which is only illegal, but not ethically wrong, is the same as (or worse than) the penalty for doing something which does have an individual victim, you brainwash some people into believing there's no real difference. They might as well do their worst.

This introduces rot into the foundation of your society, weakening it from the ground up. When it crumbles, those who cheered this behavior will wonder what happened and look for someone else to blame. Well, it's happening, and it's accelerating. I know where the fault lies, and now, so do you.

Politics turns people into monsters

People become horrible when they make politics central to their lives.

If you look at all the things going on in the world, politics is to blame for most of the worst of it. Most of it would fizzle out on its own if not for those among us who have gone politics crazy and become horrible people in the process. You could make the argument that they become monsters.

So, not only does politics make people stupid, it seems uniquely able to turn people horrible. It makes them stupid, drives them insane, and then at the crossroads of crazy and stupid, you have them advocating for things they'd know are evil- if they could stop and think clearly (without politics twisting their minds) for even a minute.

Instead, they'll attack anyone asking for accountability from their favorite political criminal.
They'll switch sides on an issue the moment one of their "influencers" tells them to.
They'll demand more slavery and theft because they want something or are scared of something else.
They'll stake out a position that is opposite to their stated morals and go against every ethical standard, just because their team believes it would be good for them. Or because they believe it will hurt the other team. Often, hurting "them" appears to be more important than helping "us". They've become Statanic.

This is why I take offense when anyone characterizes me as someone who writes about politics. I warn people about politics. I encourage them to reject politics. I'm not trying to talk people into agitating for a political "change" that would result in more of the same. I wish they would stop being political and be ethical instead.

No one has ever become a better person because they embraced the political means. Never.
But it is nearly guaranteed to make someone worse, unless they are already irredeemable.

The "movie" I'm watching

Scott Adams came up with (or at least popularized) the concept of "two movies on one screen", where two people can watch the same event- even the same video of the event- and clearly "see" opposite things happening. January 6th was a great example. The ICE shootings also illustrate this. 

It's clear that the movie you see depends on the biases you hold before the event happens. How could it be otherwise?

I make no secret that I am biased in favor of liberty. Always. Every time. I am biased against anyone or anything that is counter to liberty. Government finds liberty to be a mortal threat to itself and its power. Which it is. I can't be biased for liberty and not be biased against government. It simply isn't possible. It's like arguing for the existence of a 5-sided triangle.

I avoid watching videos of violent confrontations, unless it's a robber getting neutralized by his intended victim (that's comedy gold to me), so I don't normally see the videos where this "two movies on one screen" phenomenon plays out the most often. I did not watch the videos of the ICE killings, and I have no plans to do so. It wouldn't change my opinion, and it would make me feel bad, no matter how I interpret what I'm seeing.

Of course, it's not limited to video. You can experience the same thing simply by hearing various people describe what happened- from their perspective. You're not hearing about the event; you're learning which movie they're seeing.

Often, I can "see" it both ways, even if I think one interpretation is more likely to be true. But not always. Sometimes I think "Are you insane?" when I hear the version someone seems to truly believe happened.

But... if you are in a place where you have a right to be ("public" spaces are one of those places), doing something you have a right to be doing (protesting against infinite government power, being armed, and defending someone from an aggressor are among those things), then anyone using force against you is the bad guy. The aggressor's justifications are irrelevant. 

I don't need to see a video of every tiny detail from every possible angle to recognize this fact. I don't have to agree with every aspect of someone's opinions to stand up for their natural human rights. Sometimes a person can be wrong about everything else and still be right when it matters. I don't have to like someone to take their side against armed criminal gangs. Not even if the armed criminal gangs claim some "authority" to be doing what they're doing, so they can pretend they aren't the criminals. 

Even if government is doing something you want done- even if you think government is doing something essential- government is ALWAYS the wrong tool for the job. Supporting government is the anti-liberty position every time.

And that's the movie I am watching.

Sometimes your fans make you even more unpalatable

Every time there's another shooting committed by a government employee and the statists start in with their "Just comply and you won't be shot", "Well, he was carrying a GUN!", and "You can always fight them in court later", I hate the armed government employees just a little bit more than I did before.

I have zero respect, and bottomless contempt, for armed government employees. They can't really do anything to make their position worse.

But, seeing the apologists, and recognizing how they'd be justifying (or cheering) the SS troops in the streets doing the same sort of things, colors my perceptions of the armed government employees even darker.

I keep being disappointed.

I expected too much of people poisoned by politics.
My mistake.

Understanding the other side

I think I am able to see both (or more) sides of any topic. I could make a good, convincing argument for either side. Including the side I think is wrong.

I don't normally do it in public because I don't want to be taken out of context and have people think I'm arguing for something I'm not. Yes, it happens anyway, but there's no reason to make it easier.

I don't actually enjoy being able to see all sides so easily. It's uncomfortable and inconvenient.

Just because I can see all sides doesn't mean I haven't decided one side is more correct than the others- obviously, in the majority of cases, I have.

This doesn't stop me from considering any new arguments that are presented- it's just that new arguments I haven't already considered, mulled, pondered, (dozens of times) and then rejected because they didn't hold up, are nearly non-existent.

But, internally, I can sympathize with those on the opposite side from me because I understand where they are coming from. 

I can completely understand why the anti-immigrant people feel the way they do, while recognizing how and why they are wrong.

The same goes for the anti-gun people.

I don't avoid talking to them. That doesn't mean they'll listen to anything I say, because they are apparently incapable of seeing, much less considering, the opposite side. 

This is disappointing to me. I feel as though I made an effort they are unwilling to make- to understand the other side. Plus, there's truth in the saying "give them an inch, and they'll take a mile".

I expect more of them, even if it's an unreasonable expectation. That's why, if I engage with them at all, I come down harder than I might otherwise.

It feels lonely

This is how it feels to be standing against the cheerleading for ICE… to not be excusing them for their crimes. Lonely, but good.

It's lonely, but it's worth it to be on the ethical side. 

I can barely wrap my head around the people making excuses, blaming the victim, and pretending that "the law" [sic] and ethics are the same thing. And lying that any of this is Constitutional (if that matters to anyone).

I know I'm not really alone.

I'm seeing others being attacked for not cheering the jackboots, so I'm less alone than I feel I am. I step up to defend them when I can. But it's overwhelmingly one-sided against us, and defending them brings the wrath of the mob down upon me. Which is tiresome.

Even those who know all anti-gun rules are illegal pretend that "immigration" rules are valid. It makes no sense if you expect humans to be consistent and rational- which I don't, but still...

I hate standing with those who, in other situations, want armed government thugs to steal my guns and murder me if I resist, but sometimes you've got to anyway.

(It was much more fun discussing the SixNeedler than this nonsense!)

Murdered by badgescum

Sickening.

For the most part, I don't like the kind of people who go to protest, especially if they only protest one side and ignore the abuses of "their own" side. Which seems to be the case for 95% of the regular protesters.

If you think it's time to protest, it's probably time for something more direct. I get it, though, even though I know it won't make any useful difference. Not in today's police state.

On the other hand, cops are scum. No matter which agency they work for, or what their badge says on it. If they "fear for their life", they need to find a different job. Their primary- and possibly only- duty is to die to protect your life, liberty, and property, not to murder to enforce counterfeit "laws".

Enforcing unethical (and unconstitutional, if you care about such things) "immigration" rules puts you on the wrong side. Murdering someone who is trying to escape from your authority-addled display of aggression just stacks more wrongdoing on top of wrongdoing. 

It doesn't matter whether or not I would have liked the dead woman, or even if she was only inspired to protest because she hated the current president (as I suspect was the case). Politics makes people stupid, after all.

You have the right to drive over anyone who is blocking your way, be they a protester or an enforcer. Don't block cars if you don't want to be run over. And if you do, your claims of "self-defense" will be ridiculed by smarter people.

The comments I see people copsuckers making about the situation make me sad for the future of liberty in America... and the world.

If you hate other people more than you love liberty, there's no hope for you. And this seems to be the case with so many people these days. They love Big Brother and his rules more than they value liberty. That's not good!

Committed to Liberty

It's hard to find people who are committed to liberty.

Take "gun rights" people, for example. 

Too many of them are fine with other natural human rights being violated- as long as it doesn't affect them. You'll find many of them who support prohibition, "immigration" control, or cops. The number of them who are flaming statists astounds and disappoints me.

A lot of them even approve of background checks, the NFA, and government keeping "certain people" from exercising their right to own and carry weapons. I guess, as long as they have theirs, it doesn't bother them too much if government violates the rights of others.

Gun stores may be the worst offenders, since I suspect many of them like the fact that government is protecting their market share by regulating the crap out of guns, in clear defiance of the Constitution. I think it's some sort of "teacher's pet" power trip. They feel special, since they have a "license"... never mind it's for something no one can rightfully require a license for.

It's not any better with other liberty-oriented topics. Most people love what they love, but everyone else is out of luck. No support.

I do my best to surround myself- at least online- with people who do better. I'm happy to report that it works.

Fatal involvement

The looming food stamp riots show one thing clearly: Government shouldn't be involved. In anything. It doesn't matter what the topic is.

Government shouldn't be involved in food distribution. When it is, look what happens.

That's not all, though.

Government shouldn't be involved in healthcare, justice, security, business/economy, money, making rules, education, transportation, arbitration, defense, or any of the other things government tries to involve itself in.
Even more dangerous are the things which government decides to enforce its artificial monopoly over.

Central planning is always a flop. Every time it is tried, it fails. If you believe it didn't fail in some instance, it's because government got involved in (and destroyed) education.

Also, I have no objection whatsoever to anyone decisively ending a food thief who believes they are entitled to the food in a store. That person can choose whether or not to be a thief, and if that's the choice they make, I have no pity when that choice has deadly consequences. There is ALWAYS a better option than theft.

Mamdani and foreign-born v*ters

I saw a graph showing the breakdown in v*ter support for Commie Mamdani in NYC. 

The vast majority of his support comes from foreign-born v*ters. 

This was used as an argument against foreign-born people being allowed to v*te in America. 

You know what my first thought was? Why is anyone allowed to impose a politician- of any stripe- on others? It's a bad idea, and it's unethical. If you tolerate such nonsense, this is what you'll get. Maybe not every time, but eventually.

Just in case you imagine I'm giving "the Right" a pass recently, here's a list of some of the tyranny of the Right:

• Unconstitutional "border" enforcement and "immigrant" crackdowns.
• Anti-gun enforcement and trying hard to keep both the NFA and GCA, and all their unconstitutional crimes, intact and enforced.
• Supporting police, even when they enforce counterfeit "laws".
• Prohibition.
• Military bases in nearly every country on Earth.
• Taxing you for things they want.
• Governing others.

All these anti-liberty things are reprehensible, and I give their supporters no leeway whatsoever.

But, I'm not so stupid as to hallucinate that the only threat, the only "kings", are the rulers on the Right. That's just pathetic. I oppose their prospective kings, too.

The Projection Party

The Democratic Party is everything they've been accusing everyone else (not just Republicans) of being, for not agreeing 100% with their most extreme views. I can't even begin to list how many times they (and other Leftists) have done it to me.

Someone didn't "take care".

There's one party that promotes and depends on racism, and it's the Democrats.

There's one party that insists on being sexist, while saying sex is less important than "gender", and that it is all a social construct, and it's the Democrats.

There's one party that engages in more fascism and downright Nazi tactics, and it's the Democrats.

There's one party that can't abide the slightest criticism or disagreement, and it's the Democrats.

There's one party that encourages and celebrates the murder of people with different opinions, and it's the Democrats. It's the party of lies, hate, and murder.

There are plenty of positions where the Republican Party is equally as bad, but Democrats don't get extra points for not being worse than Republicans on those. 

But, to hate people for belonging to such a party is the same as hating someone for being a Moonie or in that Tom Cruise cult. They are a victim. They're brainwashed, and it short-circuited (or destroyed) their rational brain.

I'm sure there must be some areas where the Republicans are worse than the Democrats. Support for police and the military, and opposing property rights, are examples I immediately think of, but then I realize Democrats are still right with them in those areas, they just express it in slightly different ways.

There’s no excuse to be a Democrat anymore. Libertarians support all the good things the Democrats support (or used to support), without supporting the evil the Democrats support.

The same goes for Republicans.
And no, this isn't an endorsement of the Libertarian Party- except in those cases when they are actually libertarian.

If you are in favor of "illegal immigrants" [sic] getting arrested for having "illegal firearms", you do not support the natural HUMAN right to own and to carry weapons. You are anti-Second Amendment and pro-infinite government (as long as it's doing things you approve of).

All human rights apply to all humans. Everywhere. No legislation can change that. No constitution can change it.

The only thing such a "conservative" is conserving is illegitimate (and illegal) government power. They can shut their yaps about supporting the Constitution or being for "limited government". Their other words prove it's a lie.
