The 'rich' aren't the problem

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for June 3, 2026)

There's a lot of hostility toward "the rich". Especially billionaires. The hostility is misplaced.

The real divide is not "the rich" versus "everyone else". It is those who seek to rule, versus everyone they seek to rule.

Some of your enemies who seek to rule you are also rich; most of them are not. Even with the rich, it isn't the wealth itself causing the problem; it's how the wealth was amassed and how it is used.

If someone becomes rich by providing products and services people want and are willing to pay for, they are a benefit to us all. They are not your enemy, even if you don't like them as an individual. You are free to trade elsewhere.

Even as a child, I didn't understand the anger toward rich people. I hoped to join their ranks one day, but it didn't happen. It's not Jeff Bezos's or Elon Musk's fault I'm not a millionaire. It's weird how many people seem to imagine it is, like the economy is a pie and the size of someone else's slice means my slice has to be smaller. It doesn't work that way- the pie can keep growing exponentially. In a truly free market, there's enough pie for everyone.

Unfortunately, instead of a free market, we have governments.

Riches gained through politics are different. Political deals where your life, liberty, property, or data are the assets being traded harm you. You are violated by every one of these deals, even if you don't notice. Getting wealthy through the political means is cheating. The only real monopolies are maintained by government. You can't refuse to do "business" with those controlling the political realm.

It's not "the rich", but government, that makes you poorer.

It would be easier to build a successful business without government's roadblocks. Especially the taxes it extracts at every step of building a business, doing business, or trading. Honest businesses are forced to fund their adversary with the taxes extorted from their accounts.

Honest businesses don't use government to stifle competition, force people to do business with them, or chase government contracts. They don't help government control you.

I understand envy. It's possible to feel envy without wanting to hurt those you envy- those you wish you could join. Unless you're a "the grapes are probably sour, anyway" kind of person who thinks more money couldn't possibly do anything to improve your life- against all available evidence.

Envy and greed don't create the right to Gangtax

And then it blocked me.

I see every call to tax "the rich" the same way I would see a lowlife trying to justify raping someone who doesn't agree to have sex with them. I guess consent isn't important to this faction after all.

These people already hate Elon Musk because he left their reservation. This hatred feeds their envy and greed for his money. His becoming a trillionaire has sent them over the edge into insanity.

So, they want to see him gangtaxed. Some want to see him murdered.

Elon Musk isn't an angel. I don't idolize him. I do admire some of his accomplishments, but I know he's still a statist. But he has never oppressed me in the slightest; government has. So who is admiring their oppressors? That's right: it's the tax fans.

Musk has gotten government contracts and handouts. He partners with government- partly because if he didn't, they would shut him down and murder him if he didn't cooperate. Rockets are too dangerous to the State for it to allow them to be beyond its control. And you know it! His partnership with government has helped him get richer. I have an issue with that as well.

The foundational problem is government, not his wealth. I would shut down the State to remove that crutch so that neither he nor others can ever use it to their advantage again. I wouldn't suggest stealing a percentage of his money and giving it to the State to use against me. That would be stupid, counterproductive, and evil.

Which is why the people justifying a gangtaxing of Musk and other rich people are all for it. Envy and hatred have made them embrace evil- as it usually does

Remember, the point of taxation isn't to fund the state (it's unnecessary for that purpose since government can counterfeit all the money it needs through the Federal Reserve scam), but to DEFUND YOU. To punish you for succeeding, for buying things, or for making smart financial decisions. To manipulate your behavior. The worst thing about taxation, other than that, is that the stolen money still goes to the state, anyway. I don't want the state to have a cent, so I don't want my worst enemy taxed. It's worse than a freelance robber getting your money.

Socialistic hate and envy is stupid

Socialists are dumb and/or dishonest.

They are having seizures over Elon Musk saying he wants to reach a net-worth of $10,000,000,000,000. They pretend this means he wants a Scrooge McDuck vault full of gold.

That's not what "net worth" is.

That's how much the companies he owns are worth to us. The value he provides. His private property and bank accounts are a small part of the picture, and those don't even seem to concern him very much.

I like spaceships, Cybertrucks, and Starlink. If these socialists have their way, we'd have none of that. They are envious turds.

I have my issues with Musk, and I have detailed them many times, here and on "social" media. But I'm not so ignorant or dishonest that I make the socialists' mistake.

Their bigger mistake is that they want government to steal his money for itself. That would be an absolute waste. Every cent government gets and spends is wasted. I wouldn't want my worst enemy taxed, because government is worse than any individual. Any individual!

How much money does Elon Musk owe me? None.
How much does he owe the State? None.
I'm better off if he keeps his money out of the State's grubby claws. Even if I get zero direct benefit from his money. At least, in that case, it isn't funding The Ancestral Enemy.

Government destined to self-destruct

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for June 4, 2025)

Trying to save government from itself is a fool's errand. DOGE- the Department of Government Efficiency- failed. Elon Musk and his team found lots of waste and fraud, but seem to have misunderstood how determined government is to not be saved from financial ruin.

Look how hard different parts of government are working to make sure every cent currently being spent continues to be spent in exactly the same way. Then they lie about everything to fool the public into complaining about the possibility of money being saved. "You're killing children if you take away this money" works on people who aren't able to think critically about the claims.

So the money will continue to be funneled into all the same waste and fraud.

Some people believe this is corruption. Silly people. It's not corruption- it's government working exactly as designed.

Even when shown "This is what you must cut to avoid the financial collapse of government", they can't do it. If some waste and fraud were eliminated, every "saved" dollar is seen as a dollar to be spent elsewhere. Usually sent overseas to support other evil governments and their wars. It's more important to keep the Military-Industrial Complex happy than to stop spending themselves into oblivion.

And it will be their oblivion. They are heading for a cliff and can't bring themselves to so much as slow down. As long as they can get by with it a few more years, they can blame their political opposition when the end comes and be safe from you.

Don't let them fool you. It's not "The National Debt"; it's not your debt. It's Congress's debt. No matter how much I'd like to have one, I can't order a brand new Cybertruck and then say I'm doing it for your benefit- on your behalf- so you must be forced, at gunpoint, to pay for it. Oh, and if you try to actually use it, you'll be thrown in prison because it's not your property. Yet this is how government works all the time in every case.

The good news is, although government will self-destruct, you'll be fine as long as you haven't tied your fate too closely to the fate of government. If you have, it's time to decouple. The US federal government isn't America; it isn't the people. Watch it spend itself into a gluttonous death while you make plans to carry on after it's gone.

No excuse for Tesla vehicle vandalism

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for March 26, 2025)

To intentionally damage or destroy someone's personal property is wrong. To vandalize it because you don't like the company that makes the item is both wrong and stupid. There's no excuse; it makes you the bad guy.

If you mess with someone's personal property, I have no sympathy when the consequences come home to roost. Even if you believe those consequences are out of proportion. Respect for private property is non-negotiable. Thieves and vandals of personal property get no support from me.

If you'd destroy or scratch Tesla vehicles because your media programming and other bad people online told you to hate Elon Musk, why aren't you doing the same to Ford vehicles? I can only assume it's because you never learned about Henry Ford and his expressed opinions.

In the past, no one was falsely associated with German National Socialists by dishonest media sources simply because they waved awkwardly at a crowd. You can find pictures and videos of anyone jabbing an arm into the air, then interpret this according to your biases. Henry Ford actually supported, and influenced, their ideas. Your favorite national media figures won't tell you this because it wouldn't manipulate you into committing crimes.

Destroying Ford vehicles because Henry Ford was a bad individual would be stupid; just as stupid as destroying Teslas. Someone doing something bad in the past is no excuse for others to do bad things now. Including the attacks on Tesla vehicles and their owners. Don't touch people's cars and trucks.

It has become clear to neutral parties that the political Left is what they accuse the political Right of being. It was a lie and projection on their part all along.

If you don't like what a company, or the owner of a company, is doing, must you sit quietly and take it? No!

Call them out for doing wrong-- I do. You have the right to boycott based on your feelings. Or, be creative and organize a "buycott" to support a company or industry you appreciate; speak out in support of people and ideas you agree with. But keep your hands to yourself and off of people and their property. No matter how angry your programming has made you.

Once you start harming people and private property you've lost. You've admitted your side are the criminals. You have no more credibility and good people aren't going to waste time listening to you anymore. You're done.

Starship failure essential to its progress

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for March 12, 2025)

SpaceX's Starship, the largest and most powerful rocket (or flying machine) ever built, lost control and exploded soon after launch last week. Rocket nerds jokingly call this a "rapid unscheduled disassembly"; a RUD. When inventing something as unprecedented as Starship, it's to be expected and shows limits are being pushed.

People who don't understand what's going on called this a "test failure". If there were no explosions, it wouldn't be a rocket test. No test is a failure when it teaches something.

At this point in the test campaign, every new Starship has so many changes from the previous ship flown that it's almost a different vehicle altogether. Plus, the test ships are built with potential flaws on purpose, to see what they can survive. For example, they've even left off some of the heat shield tiles, which are there to protect the ship from the heat of re-entry from orbit, to see if losing a few during launch would doom the ship. The key point is that it is a test ship and will remain so for at least a few years. Every flight will test how far the envelope can be pushed, and to make real progress, many of them won't make it back down in one piece. It's simply how this works.

This doesn't stop people who don't understand-- or want to try to make a bad political point-- from misrepresenting what happened.

I saw commenters on social media mocking SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, telling him he can't even keep his rockets from exploding, so he needs to focus on rocketry and stop dismantling the federal government through The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). These people are wrong on both counts. I can't take anyone seriously if they act as though government accountability and eliminating waste and fraud are bad things.

Either government is chopped or America dies. There's no other alternative.

I have my own criticisms of Elon Musk, but with Starship and DOGE, he's doing the right things. Only ignorance or politics would make someone think (or pretend to think) otherwise.

To change things for the better, you've got to be willing to break something. Maybe everything. Government needs more RUDs, just like Starship does. Maybe it's time to make the "E" in DOGE stand for "Elimination". This would be an improvement those who don't understand rocketry or government would scream about. Which means it's the right thing to do.

More RUDs, please

SpaceX Starship has lots of RUDs ("rapid unscheduled disassembly"). That’s how they learn and build the technology. It's how they get better.

Government needs to experience even more RUDs. If it is to be successful, that’s what DOGE will do- help government RUD.

It is essential for humans to become multiplanetary if the species is to survive. For that to happen, government must be stopped from having the power to keep us trapped on earth.

I have my issues with Elon Musk, but it’s just as important that government parasites lose their “jobs” to DOGE as it is to rapidly iterate Starship- even if that means lots of RUDs (rockets and government).

Elon can and should do both.

What are you allowed to think?

We-- probably all of us-- are being trained in how to speak; what words to use so as to not offend the perpetually offended. It's not helpful.

I posted the above comment in reply to Elon Musk saying the Cybertruck is "Apocalypse-Level safe".

My reply was a joke- one I think Musk would have agreed with and appreciated if he had ever seen it (as far as I know he's never seen one of my posts, which seems normal).

That reply got me locked out of X for 7 days. Immediately, as soon as I hit "post". I had even censored myself by replacing the "o"s with zeros to avoid this very problem.
I noticed that when they sent me a copy of the offending tweet it looks like they put "o"s back in.

Now I'm angry that I censored myself at all. Ever.

As Orwell pointed out, you can control what people are able to think by controlling the language. Modern institutions and individuals are becoming so weak and pathetic they "need" to be protected from words that might make people think. Because you know it's not really government/corporations doing this without being pressured by weaklings to do it. You see it everywhere. It's automatic.

I rarely cuss-- I've told those around me that if I start cussing, they'd better start running the other direction. I do say things others find offensive. Pretty often. More offensive than mere cussing, apparently.

And when I say those things, it's often because I think they need to be said. Truth hurts. Censoring truth hurts worse.

Why AI will be limited

Grok, the AI from X, can now read and summarize bills so political criminals can't hide what's in them. They can't claim "We have to pass it to find out what's in it" anymore.

Musk says they are also adding all court cases to Grok's training set so that it can render verdicts.

Do the Constitution next.

Program an AI with the text of the US Constitution and, as long as no one puts a finger on the scales to tip it in favor of government power, it would expose the criminality of 99.999% of the federal government. (The rest is also unethical, but that's the fatal flaw of the Constitution.) It could bring down the State-- which it will not be allowed to do.

Either AI will never be trained on the text, history, and tradition of the Constitution, or someone will have to put a lot of fingers on the scales to make sure that AI can't understand what was written there.

AI will be used against you, but not against the State. Unless you do that part yourself.

Post-election hilarity

Soon, I'll probably be spending more time online poking holes in the statist delusions of "conservatives" and laughing at them, but as of now, I'm having so much fun laughing at the hysterical "left".

They are flouncing off to other countries. OK. Have fun.

They are flouncing off of X. (And making a point to call it Twitter to hurt Musk's feelings. I'd be surprised if it bothers him any.)

They are having meltdowns over Trump's cabinet picks. The picks are all horrible statists (who else would be in a position to get appointed to a government post?), but I love watching the meltdowns. And the mischaracterizations ("RFK jr. is an anti-vaxxer!").

They can't accept that it doesn't make someone "far-right" to notice how crazy the "left" has become. They've moved so far to the left (if the Earth were flat, they would have fallen off the western edge years ago) that the middle is now "far-right" to them. And being shoved away to make enemies of them. They have zero self-awareness; they are oblivious. They are bewildered, and they are angry (at what they've done to themselves). But they continue to blame everyone else. It's kinda what statists do.

They are shaving their heads and trying to be ugly so "conservative" men won't be interested in them. Were they interested in them before?

They are also "threatening" to not have sex with any men for 4 years. Again, I ask whether this will affect anyone they intend to hurt.

They are bragging about the number of abortions they have had, and promising to have lots more. Just to punish men.

Then, most pathetically of all, when I point out any of their craziness they think they can get my goat by telling me things about Trump I already know and don't support. Swing, and a miss. Not a Trump supporter, but Harris? Seriously? LOL!

I find it comedic, but I probably have a warped sense of humor.

Highly skeptical- slightly hopeful

I'm skeptical of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Government inefficiency is where liberty survives.

I also know it will have no actual power to do anything beyond making recommendations.

But, if it somehow decides "efficiency" means "less money spent on government", if the recommendations are embraced, if this means government agencies are gutted or eliminated, and if the savings result in less taxation and more liberty, then it will have been a benefit.

That's a lot of "if". I'm skeptical but I would love to be wrong. There's no way it can disappoint me since I have no expectations.

At least Musk and Ramaswamy are not being paid. That's a start. No one should be paid for working for government.

If invited, I would take an unpaid position as head of the ATF or IRS (working remotely, because I'm not going to the District of Criminals) to make them more "efficient". It would take me an afternoon at most. If not me, then Brandon Herrera would be a good pick to head the ATF. I think he'd do that mostly right.

X

Yes, the rumors are true. I'm on TwiXXer, or "The X Platform" as it is commonly known these days. I've been on it for a while now, not terribly active but present.

But... and this is the tricky part... I'm probably not supposed to be there. So. I'm trying to be fairly quiet, beyond posting my blogs.

I'm not planning to engage any anti-gun bigots, copsuckers, or political criminals like I did before. Sometimes, the temptation may get the better of me, though.

I went back into my original account that had been locked down because some pre-Musk pinhead said I was doing a hate speech or something (I forget what, and I don't really care). I haven't tried getting into the account I was using when some early Musk-era pinhead banned me "for life" for saying people have a right to defend themselves from people who are blocking their path to emergency medical care. By running over them with their car if that's what it takes. I won't apologize for speaking the truth, even if w0kesters don't like it.

Yes, I'm so unreasonably violent!

I don't think the ban would have survived personal scrutiny by Musk, had I been a big enough account to get his attention, but I could be wrong. I'm just going by what I see Elon himself posting. I think he would personally agree with everything I wrote in that tweet.

X isn't some bastion of free speech. It's undoubtedly better now than when the US feral gooberment was telling the pinheads in charge of banning whom to ban. It's probably still the best one out there-- although Gab lets users post the most disgusting racist crap I've ever seen online. (But, hey, I appreciate knowing who the bigots are, so I'm all for letting them speak!)

X lost most of my respect (and trust) when I got banned. I still find it useful for giving me ideas to write about. And, I may inevitably test the waters and see what happens.

If you're on X and don't follow this account, please do. If you only follow the banned account, keep following it-- I may use it as a backup when/if I get banned again sometime in the future. Although that might not work next time.

Who am I supposed to see as the enemy this week?

It's so inconvenient not paying attention to the mainstream "news". I can't remember who I'm supposed to hate right now!

Who is the enemy?

Is it Russia or Ukraine? Putin, Zelenskyy, or that rogue bald Russian mercenary? They all seem sketchy to me.

Is it the Supreme Courtjesters, Congress, or the President? Why not all of them?

Which "race", sexuality, or ethnic group? Which religion?

Am I supposed to be hating Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos or George Soros? (Well, obviously Soros!)

It's all just so confusing.

Wait... I think I should probably hate the mainstream "news" and the archators of every sort they keep promoting and shoving in my face for me to fawn over. They are the real enemies.

That keeps things easier since it is based on what someone is doing, not who they are or where they were born.

Censorship only drives evil into shadows

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for December 21, 2022)

I've realized most people don't understand freedom of speech. Not even experts.

Having freedom of speech doesn't mean you can force anyone to listen. It doesn't mean you'll escape consequences of your words. It doesn't mean anyone-- other than government-- is obligated to let you speak.

Of course, I believe corporations are an arm of government due to the cozy arrangements they share. Government puts pressure-- with implied threats of retaliation-- on corporations to ban speech government doesn't want allowed. This violates the First Amendment, which applies to what government is allowed to do.

Free speech means you have a right to falsely shout "Fire!" in a crowded theater-- politically motivated "expert" opinions aside. No one has the authority-- or the practical ability-- to keep you from shouting before you do. Government is even prohibited by the First Amendment from silencing you for "public safety".

There will be consequences, though.

You should be held accountable for any harm your speech causes. Either through some legal system shenanigans afterward or by someone present who sees the harm you are causing and acts to stop it. If someone needs to act to protect innocents from you, you have no one to blame but yourself when this turns out badly for you.

Choosing to ignore someone doesn't violate their freedom of speech in any way. I saw people get angry and cry "hypocrisy" after Elon Musk's Twitter purchase when he personally blocked them. Don't confuse someone's right to not listen to you for violating your right to speak. These are not the same. You have the right to stink, and people have the right to hold their nose in your presence.

I disagree with him banning accounts from Twitter, though. For anything. The other side of freedom of speech is the freedom to hear it. I understand the desire and the legal pressure to ban some accounts, but it still isn't the right thing to do. No one is right, or wrong, all the time.

I would always prefer to let nasty, dangerous people speak freely. I want them to feel free to expose who they really are so we'll know. This is how we can be ready to defend ourselves from them. Censoring them only drives their evil into the shadows where it can fester and grow, unexposed to the light of truth. Bad speech should be countered, not censored.

This is why I am a free-speech absolutist.

Don't be greedy, there's enough for everyone

Enough what? Hypocrisy.

The very same people now shrieking over those who doxxed "free speech absolutist" Elon Musk getting banned have been having conniptions for weeks (or months) because Musk wouldn't ban those they hate. And these are the same goons who wanted everyone they didn't like to be banned for one nonsensical reason or another.

So, hypocrisy? Sure. But it's not only Elon Musk wallowing in a pool of it.

I'm opposed to banning anyone for any reason, but I can understand the argument for it (I just don't agree). But if you've been advocating banning some people I'm not going to take you seriously when you are upset that someone else has been banned. You look like (and likely are) a fool.

Expect pushback

One thing that people seem to have a hard time learning (or remembering) is that if you push someone too hard or too far you shouldn't be surprised when they push back. Because they will.

Look at the current political situation-- it's all pushback, from every side against whoever pushed them too much. Those who feel they've had their rights or their "freedom" limited are pushing back in political ways.

If you treat some people as "less than", don't be surprised when they fight back. Whether their feelings on the matter are justified or not, they'll use their victimhood to gain political power and then use that power against you because of what you've done to them in the past.

But, if they go too far with their pushback, they shouldn't be surprised when they get pushed back yet again. It's not a pendulum; it's being actively shoved from side to side.

Left-Statist Twitter users are angry that Twitter has started fact-checking them now, along with their opposition. But they were perfectly fine with Twitter actively censoring anyone who wasn't a Left-Statist under the old management. In fact, they denied it was even happening and laughed at anyone who said it was. The situation has changed. They thought they were special and above accountability. They don't like it at all when the shoes are on both feet.

What they call the promotion of "hate speech" (no such thing), "white supremacy", and the Republican Party is simply a slight shift back toward the middle. They are so far Left-Statist that even slowing the plunge toward their side looks to them like a hard turn to the other side. This Red Queen has to run as fast as she can toward the Left to stay in the ever-moving "center". Enough is enough. Unhitch from them and let them run off into the ocean and drown. There's no appeasing them. There's not even any reason to push them-- they'll do it to themselves. Just wait them out.

If Musk ever does end up pushing them too hard (for real, not in their fevered hallucinations) they will push back, justifiably so. Hopefully, as long as they are only imagining a push they won't be able to do any lasting damage. But hallucinations are powerful in those without a foundation of worthwhile principles. So I wouldn't say they have no chance.

If only people would stop trying to govern everyone else. It's OK to share the world with people who have different values-- and I'm speaking to all sides here. What's not OK is trying to legislate other people into slavery that you imagine would be good for you. If you do this, expect pushback. You probably won't enjoy it.

Musk wields the ban-hammer now

I've had my criticisms of Elon Musk in the past. He's smart enough that he ought to "get" liberty, but it may be in his financial interests not to.

However, I have to admit I'm enjoying the way he is antagonizing the Left-statists on Twitter.

I disagree with him permanently banning anyone, ever. No matter how twisted and evil they may be. That's always my position, regardless of anything else. But, if he would use a temporary ban just to make them flip out, then reinstate them after a few hours of tantruming (I know, not a word), it would just be funny.

It's like everything he does is done to poke them just enough to make them act really stupid in response. Planned or not, it's amusing.

It's even more hilarious seeing them contradicting themselves when it's their own side facing the axe instead of their opposition-- only months ago so many were cheering the "other side" getting treated the same way-- or even worse. Especially since I think Musk is joking and the previous Twits were clearly not.

Again, I don't want anyone banned ever for any reason. Free speech is non-negotiable and I want evil people to feel free to express their evil so the rest of us know who they are and what they are thinking. It's just a personal flaw of mine that makes me enjoy seeing them melt down over being treated the way they've been treating others for years.

Musk may help end liberal narrative

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for May 4, 2022)

My Twitter account was shut down during the dark days of censorship, but I made a new account a month or so ago. Just in time to see all the fun and drama over Elon Musk's buyout of the platform.

The celebrations on multiple sides, and the meltdowns on one side, were entertaining. The melodramatic handwringing-- over fears of Musk doing to "their side" what they've supported doing to everyone else for years-- was great comedy.

Elon Musk became their new Donald Trump.

Modern so-called liberals have turned on one of their own because he still values the formerly liberal cause of free speech. What a mixed up world. This is how you know they aren't liberals anymore.

"Liberal" is supposed to mean open and generous. They are the opposite. They are authoritarians, just like the worst of the "conservatives".

Musk has warned everyone that he's not a conservative and will do things which anger conservatives. He explained that he only seems conservative now because the leftists moved so far left while he stood his ground. This left him closer to conservatives than to his former allies.

In some ways, Elon Musk leans libertarian. Not in enough ways, though. He's still better in this regard than most famous people, even many who call themselves "libertarian", but he has a long way to go.

Elon could be a libertarian if he'd stop pandering to the state-- to political government and the politicians who dwell within it. I get it, though. To run a successful business-- or three or four-- there are things you have to do to keep from being violently shut down, robbed blind, and caged by armed legislation enforcers and other government agents. He plays the dangerous game because it's how he stays in business. It's part of the reason he's a multi-billionaire and I'm not.

There's a twisted side of me, of which I'm not proud, which loves seeing the people who have relied on censorship and bullying to keep the opposition in check watching as their control of the narrative slips away. They may get it back-- I hope not.

I despise censorship of any kind, so I don't want them censored or bullied, either. I want their narrative exposed to the light of day so everyone can see how thin and worn it is. I want it to rip to pieces, and it looks like Elon Musk might just help this happen.

Be cure to government's disease

(My Eastern New Mexico News column for April 27, 2022)

Joe Biden has done us a favor. One he didn't intend to do and one his supporters probably haven't noticed and wouldn't like if they did. If America can survive Biden, in his mentally degraded condition, then it's clear the office of president is unnecessary to the well-being of Americans.

I would say it is obvious this truth can be extended to the rest of government as well, from every branch of the feral federal government down to city councils.

Things which are necessary and good can be done without government, and the things "only government" can do aren't just unnecessary, but are harmful.

Recently, Elon Musk has shown that NASA is unnecessary for human spaceflight, and that the FAA is a threat to the future of the human species since it is doing all it can to hamper his Mars program and keep the tax slaves on Earth. Musk is working to ensure the survival of humanity while government agencies are making themselves our enemies. It's a stark contrast.

Musk is now also fighting to restore free speech while his opponents are fighting for censorship; another contrast which puts him on the better side.

This doesn't mean Elon Musk is above criticism-- he's not-- but he doesn't have the power to steal your money and throw you in a cage if you resist. This makes him better than any government.

If you imagine something can't be done without the power to steal other people's money to pay for it-- the power to tax-- you've been tricked. If it's necessary, it can and will be done anyway, and if not, it probably shouldn't be done at all.

If you see something you believe needs to be done, what's stopping you from stepping up and doing it? If it's a lack of money, convince others it's a good idea and collect the money, voluntarily, to give it a try. If you can't get people to chip in, maybe the idea isn't as good as you believe it is.

If money isn't what's standing between a good idea and making it a reality, it's probably government rules stopping you. Rules put in place to protect political cronies, to protect government monopolies, or to enrich and empower politicians. None of which helps the people.

Government is not on your side and is an unnecessary disease many seem unwilling to cure. Don't be like them. Be the cure.

Can Elon Musk redeem Twitter?

I like for interesting things to happen. Especially interesting things that don't hurt anyone who's innocent. So I like that Elon Musk has offered to buy Twitter.

Of course, it has Left-Statists in an absolute uproar to see their control of the narrative threatened. They are trying to pass Musk off as some "far-right" extremist.

This same news has Right-Statists hoping their banned heroes will be returning to the platform.

I'm just amused by the circus and enjoying the popcorn.

I'm sick of statists of every kind, but since Left-Statists have so much control over what is allowed to be discussed on "social media", anything that threatens to break that control in a meaningful way seems like a good thing. I'd feel the same if the Right-Statists were the ones with this power.

Statism is statism, and it's all disgusting. But, obviously, the ones who are more in my face at the moment seem like the worst of a bad group-- and that just happens to be (as it has for several years, if not decades) the Left-Statists. The w0ke mob.

As I've said before, Freedom of speech is non-negotiable for me since liberty hinges on it, and I value liberty over life.

I don't know if Musk will be good for free speech or not. He can't be worse than Twitler was (and Twitler's successor is). And I like to see bad things-- and the people who depend on those bad things-- get shaken up a bit.

Next, I want to see something similar threaten the BATFEces gang's current crime spree. They have certainly earned it.
