Those who want you to doubt that anarchy (self-ownership and individual responsibility) is the best, most moral, and ethical way to live among others are asking you to accept that theft, aggression, superstition, and slavery are perhaps better.
Stupidity abounds. There are times I believe it would have been considerably more comfortable a life for me had I never stumbled upon Harry Browne and the dozens upon dozens of libertarians and anarchists who have influenced me since.

Just yesterday for some reason I was doing some research of Richard Widmark -- can't even remember why now, except he had appeared in one of the old cowboy flicks I watched for lack of anything worthwhile on the compooter. Widmark refreshed my understanding that even back in the 30's, 40's and 50's Hollywood (shill of the state) in general and "entertainers" in particular were subtly and eerily implanting governmentalism into the numb skulls of us couch spuds -- generally out of shear stupidity. So much so, in fact, that today it is almost impossible to discover what I see as logic and reason "...out thar in radio-land..." (quoting a shout of the old-time religious evangelists). Here's Wikipedia on one of Whidmark's "more prominent statements":
