I had wanted to make a knife sheath out of rawhide for a while, but had never done it.
Rawhide is tough to work with.
But I needed a distraction this past week, so I dug out some rawhide, made a pattern for a sheath for a Russell’s Green River Hunter knife, and got to work.
It took a few days for the rawhide to dry and give me the final results, but I think it worked well. I like how it turned out.
