Voluntary diversity is a good thing.
Forced "diversity" is disastrous.
Forced anything is.
Forced "charity" is theft. Forced "safety" is slavery.
Recognizing the disastrous nature of forced diversity isn't justification for government "borders", though, because forced division is just as harmful as forced diversity. Government's involvement can turn any idea into garbage.
Anything government touches turns to crap. Good thing government won't touch liberty with a 10-foot pole!

ReplyDeleteNot at all. Borders are a necessity to PROTECT against forced integration (forced diversity) until borders are replaced with property lines.
It’s just common sense.
Both the "borders" and forced diversity are purely government-imposed violations. I am as against government importing refugees (or anyone else) as I am against government enforcing its "borders". To use one government violation as justification for the other... well, it's like using the existence of the welfare state as justification for "borders". It is government breaking your leg, then handing you crutches, and crowing about how helpful it is.
DeleteMarriage laws were originally anti miscegenation.
ReplyDeleteWithout the government in marriage, gay marriage wouldn't have mattered. Let companies that want to recognize their marriage do so, and respect their rights to do as they wish. Allow simple legal transfers of property with a simple legal document. Get government OUT!
Just respect everyone as human.
If someone wants to have a 3some "marriage" that includes the State, I wouldn't stop them, but I don't appreciate when they want to force their choice on me instead of allowing me to make my own choice in the matter.
