Helping others

I want to help people. That led to my presidential campaign. It is also part of the reason I eventually rejected politics. It is why I write now. And it is why I live by the ZAP- the best way to help often begins by not making things worse.

I want to be the best I can be. I'll always keep looking for more ways I can help.

  1. Your blog is helpful as it makes open-minded people rethink their outlook on things. While I don't always agree with you on specifics, you write well and your grasp of the Big Picture is good. Also the fact that you grow your own food is a good example (as long as the food isn't genetically modified). Hopefully you send excess food to the local food bank. There are a lot of people hurting.

  2. As much as it pains me to admit it, I am not a great gardener/farmer. Most of what I grow, grows on its own with very little help from me. Most people might call the plants I harvest "weeds" (I would suppose those haven't been intentionally genetically modified)- as such there isn't really any excess. But I'd be glad to show hungry people around here what grows everywhere that they can eat. It's sad to me, though, how many people refuse to eat the wild plants. Where do they think the stuff in grocery stores originated?
