"More guns" isn't a political thing- it's a sensible, safety thing.
Getting (or "requiring") permits for those guns, now that's a political thing. One I find disturbing.

Those who want you to doubt that anarchy (self-ownership and individual responsibility) is the best, most moral, and ethical way to live among others are asking you to accept that theft, aggression, superstition, and slavery are better.

It gets worse. In Virginia, but more especially in New Jersey, bb guns must be registered and are considered firearms (even though there is no fire in the arms). This is political ignorance and hysteria taken to the nth degree.
