New Jersey’s Gun Laws: Taking Innocent Single Mothers Away From Their Children
There is no such thing as "unlawful possession"- of anything, and especially not guns. This woman is being made a political prisoner. She did nothing wrong as far as I can tell from this case. "Routine traffic stops" are a gross violation of the human right to travel without molestation, so the cop was the bad guy right from the start. Then he chose to escalate his evil to a new level.
This is what happens when you expect cops to do the right thing. NEVER trust cops. NEVER offer any information- or even speak to them. And in every way possible, shun them completely in your personal life.
I wish Ms. Allen the best, but I fear for her safety in the hands (and cages) of the bad guys who call themselves The State.

ReplyDeleteRepeating what I often lament: if you're expecting reason and/or logic to emanate from unreason and illogic, you're in for a long, long wait.
Monopoly state is lack of reason, lack of logic. You have no "rights" -- only violations of what you perhaps thought "should" be "rights".
But you do have choices. If you wish to carry, carry. Try to stay out of the greedy gaze of the white man.
It's not that difficult -- he's rather stupid, wouldn't you say?

You may have no "rights" but cops and politicians certainly have no "right" or "authority" to impose counterfeit "laws" on people. Doing so makes them the bad guys. Of course, there will always be bad guys among us.
DeleteEveryone does stupid things. I won't advocate heaping punishment onto people who do harmless, stupid things. Stupid things can bring their own pain without an individual becoming the tool to inflict it.
I would say she was stupid to get a gun "permit", stupid to live in Philadelphia, stupid to drive into NJ, stupid to speak to the cop... and still innocent of any wrongdoing.
Unfortunately common sense is uncommon. The common sense thing for a NJ judge to do is to realized that 1) the firearm was packed away and not immediately available for use, 2) that she had a valid permit to own the firearm from another state, and 3) that she wasn't intentionally breaking the law of Nazi Jersey and let her go. Obviously, sending her to prison isn't going to help her, her family, or protect the citizens of Nazi Jersey. But then, it is Nazi Jersey and the Nazi's don't give a damn about common sense. They just want to punish people. As Friedrich Nietzsche said: "Mistrust those in whom the urge to punish is strong." That would be all governments.
