Hot Enough For Ya?

The saying goes that if you drop a frog into boiling water it will jump out, but put it into nice cool water and turn up the heat a little at a time and you can boil the frog without it panicking. I have never tried this, but given my experience around frogs, I think it is probably true.

The moral to that story is that if you took a free person and dropped him directly into Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia at their height, the person, unless he is utterly without a moral compass, will pick up a gun and start shooting the enforcers; but take away freedom a little at a time, like the US government did, and most formerly free people will go along happily, completely oblivious to their deteriorating liberties.

The raid on Liberty Dollar headquarters and the theft of all their business assets, including all the "Ron Paul Dollars" (suspicious? Hmmmmm....), should be a clear sign that the US government is no longer a legitimate "authority" to be honored or followed, but a gang of out-of-control enforcers crushing liberty under their jackboot heels.

Different branches of the US government have admitted time and again that the Liberty Dollar is "legal". Yet, they were still trying to shut them down. Why? There is a court case being decided, althought the US government has done all it can to obstruct justice in the case. Just read the series of events. A legitimate government does not act like that. A tyranny does.
