Making deals with devils

I can't believe there are still people who don't realize this, but...

You can not make a deal with a government. Well, not and expect that government to keep their end of the deal. Governments don't do that.

They aren't individuals.

They feel entitled to run your life and to lie to you to that end.

They care about their own interests only, and respecting your life, liberty, or property is not in any government's interests. They will break any deal if they find it convenient to do so.

Trying to make a deal with government is foolish. It doesn't matter who you are, or which government you are trying to negotiate with. It's not going to work out in your favor. There's only one way to deal with such gangs.
