President, Congress, t'was their intent
To violate rights; our money they spent.
Thousands of laws, each a new crime;
Liberty, it seems, had run out of time.
Elections were held to pacify some,
A new batch of scoundrels to Washington come.
Wake up, wake up, your life is your own!

And how shall we live? In true liberty!
