Those who want you to doubt that anarchy (self-ownership and individual responsibility) is the best, most moral, and ethical way to live among others are asking you to accept that theft, aggression, superstition, and slavery are better.
Pardons are for the forgiving and absolving of punishment of ‘crimes’. If what you are accused and convicted of isn’t a crime, then you don’t need a pardon. What you need is for the constitution defiling government you live under the authority of to stop violating and abusing your, and everyone else’s, natural rights! Excusing one person with political favoritism while the fundamental wrong continues unaddressed just highlights the ‘infringement’, adding insult to injury.
It would be ideal to abolish the ATF and not transfer its "job" to any other agency (which would also need to be abolished). I'm for anything that erodes away at the illusion that props up the myth of "rule of law", though. But, you're right-- there was no crime.
