Those who want you to doubt that anarchy (self-ownership and individual responsibility) is the best, most moral, and ethical way to live among others are asking you to accept that theft, aggression, superstition, and slavery are better.
She was the last of her litter of 7, after Boots died last summer. Her mom is my mom's cat, Callie, and she's still going. Butters had been trying to die on me since she was 5 years old. Lots of health problems over the years. I am amazed she was the last survivor. Chocolate, the black cat I rescued as a newborn, is now my oldest cat at almost 13.
We have a 13-year-old and two 9-year-olds. I think Tamara's preference is to always have three cats -- two of them will bond with each other, and odd cat out will become her cuddle-cat. At least that's how it works now.
Chocolate and Sunny are the ones that sleep with/on me. Especially Chocolate. Sometimes Bug sleeps on top of the covers near my feet. Whiskers and Luna (the newest kitten at nearly 5 months old) sleep in my daughter's room- at least that's where they start out. Butters never cared to sleep with anyone- just slept on the couch or in one of the boxes. She did sit in my lap all evening, every evening. It's going to be a hard adjustment without her. Chocolate and Sunny may spend more time in my lap now. We'll see. Bug and Luna are crazy about each other, and spent tons of time wrestling and playing. Chocolate thinks other cats are beneath her. Sunny likes everyone unless they get too annoying, in which case they get a slap on the head. Whiskers loves everyone- he's just the sweetest one-eyed tuxedo boy.
R.I.P. Butters. (Sending [HUGS] to everyone.)
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear. Best wishes.
